Coaching Certification

The Running Start Institute™ conducts training in facilitating its instruments (both with individuals and organizations) and in practice development. To learn more about this training and certification as a coach, contact ask@runningstart.org.

Running Start™

Learn how to coach others to create their personal life success plans. Experience the deeper power of the process by being coached in it yourself. Steps:

  1. Attend the one-day Personal Life Success Coaching workshop, be guided through the software supported process, and receive training in our “emergent facilitation” methods.

  2. Receive a copy of the Life Success Coaching Manual and practice its application.

  3. Complete your own Personal Life Success Plan, and email us an anonymous copy.

  4. Complete on-line: (a) the pre-training program assessment; and (b) the software coaching training program.

  5. Coach five or more of your personal clients or students, record your sessions for evaluation.

  6. Pass post-training program assessment and print out your “Running Start™ Certified Coach” certificate.

Community Catalyst™

Learn how to lead groups through the Community Catalyst™ and the Education Catalyst™. Experience the profound power of the process by being a participant in a three-day workshop. Learn how to guide groups through the process using the software tools. Observe “emergent facilitation” and practice its use. Steps:

  1. Attend a three day workshop as an observer, be guided through the software supported process, and receive training in our “emergent facilitation” methods.

  2. Receive a copy of the Facilitator’s Manual and practice its application.

  3. Participate in creating, interpreting and understanding an organizational strategic plan.

  4. Assist an experienced facilitator in conducting a Catalyst workshop and operating the software.

  5. Lead a Catalyst workshop assisted by an experienced facilitator.

  6. Become a certified “Running Start Certified Facilitator” and set up, manage and facilitate Catalyst workshops yourself.
