The Community Catalyst™
This presentation argues for the values of strategic planning for communities and nonprofit organizations, and for broad participation in the process. It describes the three day Catalyst workshop and how it rapidly takes a group from creating a compelling vision of their future; to defining, organizing and prioritizing strategic objectives; to determining where they stand in achievements to date; interpreting their constraints and opportunities; and creating an action plan. It explains how the Catalyst enrolls support and stimulates transformation.
