Vasundhara Kamath
Director of Learning & Development
Vasundhara Kamath works at the intersection of fundraising, data, and program development. In her role, she works with various stakeholders to raise funds for organizational efforts, and uses data to inform program development. Her goal is to build a sustainable political pipeline for young people from underrepresented communities.
Vasundhara hails from Mangalore, on the west coast of India. She completed her PhD in law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, with research focused on the free speech implications of restrictive copyright systems. She was an Assistant Professor at Christ University, Bangalore, teaching courses on Indian constitutional law and feminist jurisprudence. These experiences got her interested in understanding the implications of legal measures using evidence, and the importance of representation in government.
Vasundhara pursued a Master of Public Policy from the George Washington University, with a dual concentration in gender policy and program evaluation. In her free time, she likes to paint, explore history, cook, read and hike.
